David Furnish and Sir Elton John
Sir Elton John and David Furnish are to next weekend get married in a "small and intimate ceremony".
The singer and his partner have invited 50 friends and family members including the likes of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne to their home in Windsor, Berkshire, South East England, for the event which will take place on December 21.
A friend of the couple told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Elton and David have been planning this for months.
"Elton is flamboyant but, for once, this will be decidedly low-key affair. Only close friends and family are invited - it's going to be a small, intimate do."
The couple are planning for their two sons - three-year-old Zachary and 23-months-old Elijah - to be ringbearers during the ceremony.
"It's important to David and Elton the boys play a special part."
Guests at the wedding are to be treated to festive-themed canapes and mulled wine.
