Sinead O'Connor has blasted Kim Kardashian West's Rolling Stone magazine cover.
The 'Nothing Compares 2 U' hitmaker went on a furious rant after discovering the 34-year-old reality star features on the front of the latest issue of the iconic music publication saying it means the industry has "officially died".
In a post on Facebook she moaned: "What is this **** ("I don't smile much because it causes wrinkles") doing on the cover of Rolling Stone? Music has officially died. (sic)"
The 48-year-old singer went on to say judges from reality shows including 'The X Factor' such as Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh are partly to blame for music's downfall but also blamed the magazine for choosing to feature the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star as its cover girl.
Alongside a screenshot of the magazine, she added: "Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be f**king horrified #BoycottRollingStone (sic)."
It's not the first time the musician has lamented the state of modern music, having famously written four open letters to 'Wrecking Ball' singer Miley Cyrus back in 2013 when she warned her against music executives who "prostitute you for all you are worth".
She wrote at the time: "The music business doesn't give a shit about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it's what YOU wanted.. and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, 'they' will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone. (sic)"
