Simon Cowell has splashed out $25 million on a new home in Malibu.
The 58-year-old music mogul has spared no expense to snap up the lavish 10,000 square foot, seven bedroom home on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Simon's new pad overlooks the ocean and boasts a swimming pool, a modern interior and a tennis court.
But despite its hefty price tag, the property is likely only to be a holiday home for Simon, his partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, three, as the 'X Factor' boss already owns his main house in London, and a second $15 million abode in Beverly Hills.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' star recently feared for his life after falling down the stairs of his London home while going to get a glass of milk.
He said: "I was lying on my back thinking, 'I hope I haven't broken my neck.' But the NHS staff were the most amazing people I've ever met, genuinely. Fortunately it was all fine ...
"He [Eric] probably would have told me off, and I didn't want to worry him. He's only three."
While the fall didn't leave Simon with any lasting damage, it has helped him realise what is important in life.
He said at the time: "It does make you realise what's truly important in life."
It comes after Simon admitted low blood pressure was to blame for his slip and has vowed to change his lifestyle in order to make sure he is as fit as he can be so that he can be a responsible father for Eric.
He said: "Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.
"They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out. After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever."
