Simon Cowell and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, are reportedly planning to call their son Simon Cowell Jr. when he is born in February.
The 'X Factor' boss's girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, is set to give birth to a baby boy in February, and she told guests at her baby shower on Saturday (07.12.13) that they are planning to call the tot Simon Cowell Jr.
An attendee told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "It shouldn't come as a shock, but Simon and Lauren really seem to be planning to name their son Simon!
"There were baby clothes and little games all personalised with the name 'Simon' for the baby."
The insider added: "From what everyone -- including Lauren -- was saying, they are 100 percent naming their son Simon. Initials for baby Simon were everywhere."
The music mogul, 54, who was previously considering calling their son after his late father, Eric Cowell, had a party planner organise an elegant English tea party at his Beverly Hills mansion for Lauren's baby shower, but he did not attend the event.
Lucky invitees, including Simon's former fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy, and ex-girlfriend, Terri Seymour, were welcomed to the house by a giant Christmas tree near the entrance and a buff waiter serving up festive drinks.
The 36-year-old socialite's divorce from former spouse Andrew, with whom she shares custody of their seven-year-old son Adam, was finalised last week and she and Simon are expected to announce their engagement in the near future.
