Simon Cowell hopes to find a Latino version of Little Mix.
The 55-year-old music mogul has announced a second season of his American music-based, multi-media competition, 'La Banda 2,' and plans to scour the US and Puerto Rico for a new girl group next year.
He said: "I am absolutely delighted to be announcing Season 2 of 'La Banda'. The enthusiasm for this format is already very exciting and most importantly we are seeing some incredibly promising talent. Univision and Saban Brands are brilliant, music-focused, passionate partners and we are all looking forward to next year's search for a Latina girl group."
News that a second series of the show has been already been given the green light comes just weeks after the British star, who runs SYCO Entertainment and works as an executive producer on the Univision Network show, launched auditions for the first season of 'La Banda' with former 'X Factor' producer Mark Sidaway and 'Livin' La Vida Loca' hitmaker Ricky Martin.
The team are currently trying to put together a new Latino boy band.
Mark recently: "It's really exciting. If we get it right we want to bring it to other countries."
