Simon Cowell has donated £25,000 to help pay for a three-year-old boy's life-saving cancer treatment.

The 56-year-old music mogul first heard about Kian Musgrove's campaign to raise £500,000 for treatment at a specialist clinic in America on Twitter and he phoned Kian's mother Kat while she was by her sick child's bedside at Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, North East England.
The 28-year-old mother said: "It was such a lovely surprise which has come at such a difficult time."
And according to the Daily Mirror newspaper, a source close to the 'X Factor' boss said: "He was incredibly touched when he read of Kian's story and delighted to help."
Cowell offered the money in order for the family to be able to afford to get a plane over to the US so Kian could receive the treatment for the childhood cancer he has, which had returned for a second time.
Kat says she will be "forever grateful" for Simon's generous donation and the important role he has played in Kian's fight for his life
She continued: "His generosity is absolutely amazing, it is so heartwarming.
"We will be forever grateful for his help and his part in our life-saving journey.
"I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of helping in any way at all, it really does mean the world to us. That kindness has kept us going and now we are finally on the way."
The young boy was first diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma in October 2013 and has 27 types of tumours.
And it's early days as Kian will have to stay in hospital in New York for five weeks for assessment before he can undergo the miracle treatment.
