Simon Cowell has splashed out on two £2,000 bikes to kick-start his new healthy regime following his fall.
The 58-year-old music mogul recently vowed to change his lifestyle after he took a tumble down his stairs resulting in him being rushed to hospital, but he is now riding to his office in Kensington, west London, after forking out for the battery-powered bikes.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The bikes might be electric but it still has more benefits than getting driven to his desk. It's a start."
Simon is said to have bought one of the 28mph bicycles for the three-mile round trip to his London office and another for his time spent in Los Angeles.
Sharon Osbourne, Simon's fellow 'X Factor' judge', recently admitted his partner Lauren Silverman - with whom he has three-year-old son Eric - revealed the star's fall was made worse because he suffers from low blood pressure, forcing him to miss last weekend's 'X Factor' live shows.
Speaking of her conversation with Lauren, Sharon said: "She was just saying that he suffers from low blood pressure anyway.
"Because of the concussion, that's why he couldn't come back."
Following the tumble, Simon vowed to look after himself more because he has "more responsibility than ever" since becoming a father to Eric.
He said: "Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.
They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.
"After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever."
