Simon Cowell hasn't ruled out getting married to Lauren Silverman.
The 'X Factor' boss - who has approved actor Nigel Harman to portray him in a West End musical based on the pop star search show - says everyone will just have to "wait and see" if he pops the question to the American socialite who is pregnant with his child.
Asked if he felt compelled to tie the knot with his lover following her quickie divorce from her husband Andrew Silverman, Simon joked: "That's a very leading question - that could be part two of the musical. What's going to happen next? You'll just have to wait and see."
The 53-year-old music mogul had previously expressed his disdain for marriage and children, but he has admitted the fact he is soon to become a dad for the first time has altered his perspective on family life.
He told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Once it happened, you feel completely different. Once I heard the news about the baby ... little bit of a shock, then I got used to it, and then I became incredibly paternal and protective and I feel very attached to the baby already. The fact it can happen at this time in my life is fantastic ... maybe a miracle."
It's still speculated that Simon could return as the fifth judge alongside Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne on this year's 'X Factor' UK series.
'The X Factor' musical 'I Can't Sing has been written by Harry Hill and debuts at the London Palladium on February 27 before opening to the public on March 26.
