Simon Cowell spent $16,000 on a silver bangle for pregnant lover Lauren Silverman,to show her how much she means to him

A source was quoted by Us Weekly magazine as saying: "He knew what he wanted. He loves her. Simon plans to be with her."

Earlier this week Simon reunited with Lauren, who is said to be approximately 12 weeks pregnant, for the first time since her divorce was finalised last week.

I'm proud to be a dad. It's something I hadn't thought of before, but now I know, I feel good about it.

Lauren flew in to Nice airport in the South of France, near where Simon is holidaying on a luxury yacht.

Earlier in the week Simon flew to London for the evening to attend the premiere of his boy band One Direction's film 'This is Us', where he gushed about Lauren, saying: "I'm proud to be a dad. It's something I hadn't thought of before, but now I know, I feel good about it.

"Things are changing in my life right now, for the better. She [Lauren]'s a very special girl."
