Shona McGarty's dad is dressing up as a turkey for Christmas, and her mum is going to be an elf.

The 'EastEnders' actress - who plays Whitney Dean in the BBC One soap - has revealed her family love indulging in festive fancy dress, and whilst her parents are opting for comical attire, she will be sporting a sexy Mariah Carey-style Santa dress.
She said: "My family are dressing up. My mum's an elf, my dad's a turkey and my nephew is a shepherd.
"I'm wearing a Mariah Carey 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' kind of outfit."
While Shona is sporting her skimpy outfit, her 'EastEnders' co-star Lorna Fitzgerald - who portrays Abi Branning in the show - looks set to be heading to a hotter climate.
She added: "I might go somewhere warm - because a warm Christmas is definitely better than a cold one!"
However, Harry Reid, who plays Lorna's on-screen boyfriend Ben Mitchell, isn't a big fan of spending Christmas in a warm country.
He added to Inside Soap magazine: "That's odd! Why would you want to go somewhere hot and have a BBQ on Christmas Day (25.12.15)? I'll be at home in the freezing cold wrapped up in my nice Christmas jumper."
