Sharon Osbourne had to miss a Backstreet Boys concert because she was ill with food poisoning.

The TV star - who is married to Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne - had been set to watch the 'I Want It That Way' hitmakers at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (04.09.13).

But much to her disappointment, Sharon couldn't catch the guys on their 'In a World Like This Tour' as she was left vomiting after eating something bad.

On Thursday (05.09.13), she wrote on her Twitter account: "Had the worst case of food poisoning yesterday and missed the @backstreetboys' show. I heard it was fantastic! (sic)"

Although she wasn't able to see the group - A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell - in action, Sharon will soon be entertained by her son Jack Osbourne when he starts competing on 'Dancing with the Stars'.

The 27-year-old son is joining 11 other celebrities - including Christina Milian, Amber Riley and Leah Remini - on the ballroom dancing contest which will kick off on ABC on September 16.

Tweeting about Jack's dancing antics, Sharon said: "So excited that in just days I will be sitting front row at @DancingABC watching @JackOsbourne dance! #DWTS (sic)"

Sadly Jack and his wife Lisa Stelly have suffered a recent tragedy as Lisa had a miscarriage.

The couple - who have 17-month-old daughter Pearl together - were expecting a son.
