Serena Williams has signed her daughter up for tennis lessons.
The 39-year-old sports star has revealed that her three-year-old daughter Olympia is already taking her first steps on the tennis court.
Serena - who was initially coached by her dad Richard Williams - said on her Instagram Story: "I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons. Don't even start with me because I'm not giving her tennis lessons, I signed her up for some.
"But the lady has no idea that it's my daughter, so we'll see how that goes."
Serena - who has Olympia with her husband Alexis Ohanian - denied being a pushy parent.
However, the Grand Slam-winning star is keen to see her daughter develop some basic tennis techniques.
She said: "I'm not a pushy mom, but I know how I like techniques - I want to make sure she's good at teaching Olympia some techniques."
Meanwhile, Serena previously suggested that becoming a parent could actually help her tennis career.
The sports icon thinks that focusing so much attention on Olympia could allow her to relax when she's on court.
Serena - whose sister Venus has also enjoyed a stellar tennis career - explained: "When I’m too anxious I lose matches, and I feel like a lot of that anxiety disappeared when Olympia was born.
"Knowing I’ve got this beautiful baby to go home to makes me feel like I don’t have to play another match."
Serena also insisted she's not extending her career in order to win more money or for the prestige that comes with success.
She said: "I don’t need the money or the titles or the prestige. I want them, but I don’t need them. That’s a different feeling for me."
