The 'Cruel Intentions' star admits she is "embarrassed" that she used to fib about her date of birth but insists there was a lot of "pressure" at the time to be of a young age.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: "There was a lot of pressure for me to lie about my age and say I had just turned 18 when I was actually 26. I did a couple times, and now I'm so embarrassed.
"Finally it was a grown woman, Judy Davis, who said, 'What are you doing? You have your own stories to tell.' I stopped immediately and became my own age, and embraced just being who I am."
Meanwhile, the 43-year-old actress is looking forward to playing 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Kris Jenner in upcoming film 'American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson' and recently gushed about the 60-year-old television personality.
She shared: "Kris is the most generous woman. I found her to be so lovely and endearing, she welcomed me into her house. Hopefully, we'll end up being friends. I have so much respect for her."
