Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have enjoyed a romantic date in Paris.

The 24-year-old singer and the 'Starboy' hitmaker have been going from strength to strength with their budding new romance in recent weeks, and were spotted leaving La Réserve, a five-star hotel in the French capital, on Monday (27.02.17) night.

The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - is due to perform a show at the AccorHôtels Arena in the city on Tuesday (28.02.17), and the 'Hands To Myself' hitmaker is likely to make an appearance at the concert to show her support for her boyfriend, as she has been spotted at a number of his European dates.

Over the weekend, Selena took to Snapchat to call the 27-year-old singer her "baby" in a video taken at his concert in Zurich, Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Abel's ex-girlfriend and model Bella Hadid - whom he split from in November after an 18-month long romance - was also spotted in Paris at the Hotel George V, just a few minutes away from where her former flame was romancing Selena.

Bella, 20, is currently in the French capital attending fittings ahead of the upcoming Paris Fashion Week.

Earlier this month, Bella admitted her split from the 'Can't Feel My Face' musician was "hard" to deal with.

She said: "It was my first break-up...and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it's always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It'll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through. But I'll always respect him, and I'll always love him. Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you've fought so hard to build."
