The 23-year-old singer listed her Calabasas property, which sits on three acres, for $4,495,000 in November but the 31-year-old rapper has snapped it up for a bargain $3.3 million, TMZ reports.

The stunning mansion boasts six bedrooms and seven bathrooms as well as a spa, pool and a waterfall in the back garden.

It also contains parking spaces for 10 cars and a large gym.

A listing for the home, when it went on the market, read: "Extremely rare & private compound in the illustrious Mureau Estates gated community of Calabasas.

"Sprawling over three acres, this exceptional custom home provides every amenity expected of a luxury estate."

French's new home is near to his ex-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian's residence and no doubt she will be thrilled to have him living in the area as he recently insisted that despite ending their two-year relationship last year, she is one of his "closest pals".

He said: "We're gonna be friends forever, me and Khloé.

"We've got a special kind of relationship. That's one of my best friends."

And earlier this year it was claimed that pair were seeing each other casually.

A source said: "Khloé and French Montana are still hooking up but keeping it totally under the radar.

"She's still into French, but she wants to keep it no strings attached. Khloé knows French is a player and doesn't want to get involved with him in that way again right now."
