Selena Gomez was "nervous as hell" about discussing 'Thirteen Reasons Why'.
The 24-year-old singer has admitted she was anxious about discussing plans to launch the new Netflix series with the broadcasting network, which she won't star in but will reportedly be on hand to produce.
Alongside a picture of the brunette beauty slumped across a desk, which was shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: "This was the day I was nervous as hell going into @Netflix for the first time to talk about @13reasonswhy (sic)."
And the 'Kill 'Em With Kindness' hitmaker has revealed if it wasn't for her mother, Mandy Teefay, and author Jay Asher who wrote the novel of the same name, she would never have attended the meeting.
She continued: "My mom found this book in 2009 and worked her ass off to make it with me, guide me and tell this story authentically (the only reason, beside Jay this project was even made) (sic)."
Selena has also taken to social media to tease a clip of the upcoming series, which is set to be available to watch on March 31.
Alongside the video she wrote: "A peek at a passion project I've been working on with @Netflix. @13ReasonsWhy arrives 3/31.(sic)."
