Selena Gomez feels "very healthy" following her chemotherapy.
The 'Same Old Love' hitmaker was struck down with lupus, an autoimmune disease, three years ago and revealed she had to undergo the treatment but insists she is back to full health now despite having the chronic condition for life.
She told Billboard magazine: "It has been overwhelming and the response has been very supportive, which is nice - but it still makes me a little uncomfortable.
"I waited for the right time to talk about it because I am in a great place and I'm very healthy. I'm not trying to be loud about it: It was time to use my platform to help."
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old beauty previously admitted she didn't really "understand" the diagnosis and tried to keep it as private as possible whilst she underwent treatment.
She shared: "[It happened] three years ago... That's when I found it and I think it was just very complicated because I didn't understand and then it was something that I did want to keep private until my whole life suddenly wasn't private.
"You'll have it forever. It's kind of one of those situations. You just have to take care of yourself."
