Scarlett Johansson could never sign up for internet dating.
The 'Her' star winces at the very thought of having to use the web to find love, as she'd be too worried she'd end up on a date with a "freak".
Scarlett - who is engaged to French creative agency boss Romain Dauriac - said: "Just the thought of building a profile gives me anxiety. I'd try to be fair in answering my questions and, but you think, 'Who's the freak I'm going to meet?' and, 'How do I know if any of this is true?' I'd be terrible at it."
Scarlett is enjoying being engaged to Romain and is not in any rush to walk down the aisle.
She added to People magazine: "Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy with a guy I'm deeply in love with. It's very romantic."
Scarlett, 29, was previously married to Ryan Reynolds for two years until 2010, and also dated ad executive Nate Taylor and actor Sean Penn, and she says her different relationships have taught her a great deal about what she is looking for in a man.
She said: "The most important thing is that I want to be friends with my partner more than anything. Of course it's important to have passion, but you can't always be in that honeymoon phase. The friendship is really what carries you when you have ups and downs."
