Scarlett Johansson thinks it is important to "push" herself.
The 'Ghost in the Shell' star feels it is crucial to constantly push the boundaries in both her personal and professional life.
She said: "I keep trying to push whatever boundary I set for myself, that's important."
And one thing the 32-year-old actress had to push herself with was working out ahead of her role in the science fiction film.
She quipped to Entertainment Tonight: "My trainer probably looks at me and is like, I'm this young and clumsy sort of block of wood he has to carve something out of. But he's actually here today, and he actually helped me train for this film."
Meanwhile, Scarlett - who has two-year-old daughter Rose with her estranged husband Romain Dauriac - previously admitted she found it "grounding" to keep working whilst raising her daughter.
She said: "Even when I was shooting ['Ghost in the Shell'] I was still nursing. That is a very grounding [thing.]
"If you ever needed to return to yourself, that is a pretty wonderful way to come back to yourself when you go home. You have to leave all that work stuff behind and be able to present with your kid. I am very thankful that's my reality at the end of the day."
And the blonde beauty only decided to take on her role in 'Ghost In The Shell' after consulting her therapist as it was so soon after her pregnancy.
She added: "I'd had my daughter a couple of months before and it just seemed like an enormous undertaking. But something about it was enigmatic and I sat on it and discussed it in therapy. It was on my mind."
