Scarlett Johansson is having too much "fun" with her career to start a family yet.
The 28-year-old actress - who is dating French journalist Romain Dauriac - definitely wants to have kids in the future but at the moment she is enjoying such a productive and rewarding period of acting she doesn't want to take time out to have a baby.
Scarlett's recent films include 'We Bought a Zoo', 'The Avengers' and 'Hitchcock' and she has five films coming out in the next 18 months, including another outing as super-spy Black Widow in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.
Speaking in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, she said: "Eventually I want to have a family, and that would be my focus, but right now I'm having fun with it. There have been times in my career where I've struggled to find ... I was stuck for a while. It was more difficult, maybe, to find the right thing to do. Now I'm enjoying a really productive, creative period."
Scarlett - who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds - currently splits her time between Romain's home in his native Paris and her apartment in her hometown of New York.
Although she is one of the world's most recognisable actresses she doesn't let her fame stop her from living a normal life and Scarlett actively makes an effort to avoid having a showbiz lifestyle.
She explained: "Luckily, I'm relatively uninteresting. I've always tried, as much as possible, to keep the prying eye at arm's length, which doesn't always work in my favour - but I think if you establish that early on, you remain relatively unscathed. As I get older, I realise what an incredible waste of time it is to scurry around like some kind of urchin. I want to enjoy things, like just walking around my city."
