Sarah Michelle Gellar believes separate bathrooms and credit cards are the key to a happy marriage.
The 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' star has been with husband Freddie Prinze Jr. for 17 years and they've been married for 15.
Sarah, 40, made an appearance on talk show 'Harry' and the host Harry Connick Jr. quizzed the former 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' star on what her and the 41-year-old actor's secret is to living in marital bliss and as well as the bathroom issue she also makes sure she ignores his video game obsession.
She said: "I feel like there are certain things that should just be kept on your own and they never need to know. Also, maybe, possibly, a separate shopping credit card; or if you are a guy, maybe a separate gaming card so I don't have to see how much video games cost."
Although she tolerates Freddie's gaming, the 'Cruel Intentions' star admits if one thing could come between them it is devotion to his computer and console.
Sarah said: "There used to be a game called 'World of Warcraft' ... so I literally at this point lost my husband, so I joined a support group, not a joke, called Widows of Warcraft. This is a true story ... ladies, if you are losing them to video game world, there are support groups out there ... and you can meet other people who have dealt with this same issue."
The couple met while filming teen horror movie 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' in 1997 but did not begin dating until 2000.
They have an eight-year-old daughter, Charlotte and a five-year-old son named Rocky together.
Earlier this year, Freddie credited their long courtship for contributing to their successful relationship.
He said: "We were just friends for a good two years before we ever went on a date. She knew what kind of guy I was. She knew what my morals were, what my priorities were and vice versa."
