Sarah Michelle Prinze only takes on acting roles that fit around the lives of her children.
The former 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' star has three-year-old daughter Charlotte and 10-month-old son Rocky with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. and is happy to turn down any role that comes with a gruelling shooting schedule because it would prevent her from spending quality time with her young kids.
Speaking to People magazine at CBS' 2013 Summer Television Critics Association Tour in California, she said: "I applaud the women who can still take on movies and travel all over the world, but that is not for me.
"I've luckily found a job where I can take my daughter to school in the morning and still be at work. And for me, it is the best of both - I mean, the ultimate job I could ever ask for."
The 36-year-old actress will star as Sydney Roberts in the upcoming American comedy TV series 'The Crazy Ones' and although having children affects the parts she takes on, it is vital she detaches from her motherly instincts when she acts in order to develop her on-screen character.
Sarah - who stars with Robin Williams in the show apart an unconventional advertising agency - explained: "Once you get on set, you have to de-compartmentalise and focus on the job.
"My character on the show is nowhere near having children, so you put that away."
