Sarah Harding pulled out of her latest 'Ghost the Musical' performance midway through on Monday night (10.10.16).
The former Girls Aloud star - who plays lead role Molly in the production - could not finish the show taking place at Blackpool's famous Winter Gardens and did not return to the stage after the interval. Her understudy took her place.
Sarah, 34, had only just returned to the show a month ago after returning to the three-month tour in September after being diagnosed with a upper respiratory tract infection which took her six days to get over.
Although she had to pull out of the show on Monday, Sarah is due to return to the stage for the scheduled performance on Tuesday night (11.10.16).
A representative told BANG Showbiz: "Sarah had to take six days off to recover from a throat infection, shortly after opening but returned to the show.
"I can't disclose the specific reason she had to pull out of the second half last night but rest assured she's back on stage tonight."
Sarah is making her theatre debut in 'Ghost the Musical' playing Demi Moore's character from the beloved 1990 movie opposite former 'Hollyoaks' actor Andy Moss, who is portraying Molly's murdered lover Sam, a role made famous by Patrick Swayze on the big screen.
