Sarah Harding admits she has been "blushing" while rehearsing kissing scenes for the stage show 'Ghost: The Musical'.
The former Girls Aloud singer is making her theatre debut in the show in which she plays Demi Moore's character Molly from the beloved 1990 movie opposite former 'Hollyoaks' actor Andy Moss - who is portraying Molly's murdered lover Sam, a role made famous by Patrick Swayze on the big screen.
Sarah is in the thick of rehearsals now with her hunky co-star and she admits she hasn't been able to contain her embarrassment when Andy reaches in for a smooch.
During an interview on TV show 'This Morning', she revealed: "The other day I had to start to do the odd kiss, and I start blushing! It's not something I'm used to, I've never really done on screen snogging."
Sarah, 34, insists Andy, also 34, has been the perfect gentleman as they learn their lines and has done his best to make her feel at ease about the kissing.
She added: "Andy is lovely. The more familiar we get the more comfortable it becomes. At the end of the day it's just a job, he's done it a million times. I'm the one who is blushing!"
Sarah isn't having any issue mastering the emotional parts of the story because the songs that feature tug on her heart strings.
The 'Threads' singer - who has acted in soap opera 'Coronation Street' and movies 'St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold' and 'Run For Your Wife' - said: "The music brings on my emotions, it's not hard for me to cry at all. I hope I'm not emotionally numb by the end of it though because we're doing eight shows a week ... I like to challenge myself ... but to do something like this - to bring together the two things I love the most which is to sing and to act - is great. Hopefully I can carry on doing both."
'Ghost: The Musical' opens at London's New Wimbledon Theatre on 29 August before going on a UK tour.
