Samia Ghadie almost gave birth while watching 'Coronation Street'.
The 33-year-old actress - who plays Maria Connor in the ITV soap - has revealed she thought she was going into labour while watching their recent live episode.
Asked if everything had gone to plan with her C-section, Samia said: "We didn't think it would, because the night before I was due to have the C-section it was the 'Corrie' live episode and I started to get contractions!
"I was literally sitting with my legs crossed watching the show. I was terrified to move - I thought if I did my waters would break and I would end up going into labour. I think I was just nervous for everybody and getting all wound up."
Samia - who gave birth to her and her fiance Sylvain Longchambon's son Yves last month - predicted she'd give birth on the same day her co-stars would be broadcasting live before she'd even been ruled out of appearing in the episode herself.
She told OK! magazine: "I had been joking for months at work that I was going to give birth during the live episode. When I told the producer I was pregnant, he said that ruled me out of being in the live episode. I jokingly said, 'Yes, because I'll probably be giving birth.' Which I nearly was, but luckily Yves hung on."
