Salma Hayek has become insecure about her body as she enters her fifties.
The 49-year-old Hollywood beauty - who has daughter Valentina, eight, with husband Francois-Henri Pinault - will turn 50 on September 2 and admitted her "confidence" in her figure has recently wavered.
She said: "Well I am entering my fifties so your body confidence isn't that good. I think it depends on the day, for everybody. There's some days you say, 'This is it,' and you love it. Then there are days when you go, 'This cannot be it! Is this really it?' So I think it's up and down all the time!"
The actress plays a childless queen who is willing to do anything to conceive in new movie 'Tale of Tales' and offered sage advice on how to be a royal in real life.
She told PEOPLE: "You have to get up and become your own work of art; from the moment you put yourself together. Not that I do it! I am quite lazy in the queen department. But celebrate who you are and celebrate life, and know that this is your experience."
Meanwhile, Salma previously admitted she could identify with the character because she was also "terrified" she would never have children.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the UK premiere: "I was terrified of whether I could have a child or not and I didn't have mine until I was 41. I think this is a fear that crosses every woman's mind. Sometimes it's, 'Do I want a child?' Or, 'Can I afford a child in my life?' Or, 'Am I going to be able to have a child in my life?' And this is something that is inside of us always, even if you don't want to have a child."
