Nicole Apple says her ex-husband Liam Gallagher likes the new All Saints song which is about the couple's break-up.
The girl group returned last month with the single 'One Strike', which documents an emotional phone call between Nicole and her bandmate Shaznay Lewis about the end of her marriage to the ex-Oasis frontman.
Nicole has revealed the 'Supersonic' rocker has heard the track and is a fan of it.
During an appearance on 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' TV show Nicole was asked what Liam, 43, thought of the track, to which she replied: "He loves it. It is his favourite song. Really!"
Host Alan also pointed out to Nicole, 41, he had noticed in the accompanying music video that she throws a parka - Liam's trademark jacket - on the floor.
Asking if this was her "throwing shade at a certain parka-wearing singer called Liam", she answered: "Yes. It is. I'm glad you noticed."
The 'Never Ever' hitmaker also revealed she had no idea Shaznay had written 'One Strike' about her romantic woes when she first started recording it and the rest of their new album 'Red Flag' with her other bandmates, her sister Natalie Appleton and Melanie Blatt.
Nicole explained: "(It's about) a phone call that I made to Shaz when I was away and all this happened and she just took it all in and worked her magic and just wrote the song. I didn't even know and I was singing along to it, months later, she went, 'You know when you spoke to me and told me...' And I just went, "Oh my god,' it was quite heavy.
"I was singing it and I didn't know. I was just singing away because I was in a weird place at that time and then all of a sudden it was like, 'Boom, yeah, I get it.' Shaznay always gets it and that was it. Clever girl!"
Nicole and Liam - who have 14-year-old son Gene together - split in August 2013 after she discovered he had fathered a love child with American journalist Liza Ghorbani. Soon after they broke up, after around 13 years together, Liam embarked on a new relationship with his former band Beady Eye's aide Debbie Gwyther.
The former couple's divorce was finalised in October 2015 and with the support of her friends she's now moved on from the hellraiser.
Nicole said: "I'm really good. With a little help from my girlfriends (I've moved on)."
'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' airs on Channel 4 at 10pm on Thursday night (17.03.16).
