Ryan Reynolds is stranded in New York following a snow blizzard on the East Coast.
The 40-year-old hunk was supposed to appear on British television programme 'The One Show' on Wednesday (15.03.17) night to promote his new film 'Life' alongside his co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Rebecca Ferguson but was forced to cancel at the last minute as he couldn't get a flight out of the Big Apple due to Storm Stella.
Presenter Matt Baker explained while interviewing Jake and Rebecca: "We must say hello to your co-star Ryan Reynolds who was meant to be with us today, wasn't he? But unfortunately he's been caught up in that storm in the East coast."
Although he wasn't there, Jake made sure his close friend was still the hot topic of conversation as he bragged about their "bromance" and how close they've become.
Jake said: "He's a wonderful man. It's rare in our industry to meet someone, a contemporary, and there's no competition. There's just some friends you meet at a certain time in your life. We met on this movie and became really close friends."
Meanwhile, it's not just television appearances Ryan is missing out on due to the poor weather at the moment as he's also away from his children James, two and, six-month-old Ines, whom he has with his wife Blake Lively, who are based in Los Angeles.
Speaking about his girls recently, he said: "Just seeing my older daughter be so infatuated with our younger daughter, who's four months old. Seeing her kiss her and hug her and hold her, it kinda crushed me. But would put anyone else to sleep."
