Ruth Langsford accidentally sliced her finger open with a knife on 'This Morning'.

The 57-year-old television personality revealed on the ITV show on Wednesday (19.04.17) she had an incident in the kitchen when she was chopping peppers, which saw her slice into the side of her finger during a segment on the show with Gordon Ramsey and her husband Eamonn Holmes.
The nation's sweetheart said on a pre-recorded section filmed earlier this week but aired today: "It's very sharp this knife. I'm not racing you Eamonn as we'll chop our fingers off."
Once the task was done Ruth said: "Ow, my finger."
And she wrapped her limb in a cloth and remained calm as she bravely soldiered on.
The foul-mouthed celebrity chef continually quizzed Ruth on her wellbeing.
Ruth then showed off her gash on today's programme, which saw her spouse reveal the aftercare she received.
He said: "She was rushed off the set and a first aider come on and she haemorrhaged."
Whilst Eamonn joked his wife had "haemorrhaged", Ruth decided to explain to the audience the real situation, which saw her admit she couldn't stop her finger from bleeding and it all turned "very serious" because she needed to see a medical expert.
Ruth explained: "It doesn't look very much, but it was so deep, I couldn't stop it bleeding, I had to get the medic, it was all very serious."
