Russell Brand is missing Jemima Khan's pet pooch.
The comedian reportedly split from Jemima last month after they dated for a year, and admits that "life is hard" now he and her white Alsatian Brian don't spend any time together.
Speaking on tomorrow night's edition of The Jonathan Ross Show, he explained: "I loved that dog. But what can you do?
"Life is hard isn't it. You just jog on. You focus and think, 'Well I have lost that dog, we just have to overthrow the government.'"
Russell had took the dog on the talk show just 12 months prior, and added: "I just walk around with a limp lead now. You should see what I do when I get home, with the same lead."
Rumours that their relationship had ended were first fuelled when the pair unfollowed one another on Twitter, but the only information surrounding the split came from a source which claimed: "The relationship has simply run its course."
