Comedian and actor Russell Brand is about to branch out into music and is working with Naughty Boy to record poems from his new book as rap songs.
Russell Brand 39, has asked to work with 'La La La' hitmaker, Naughty Boy.
Russell thinks it could be really fun to put some of the poems to music and has approached Naughty Boy to find out if he would get involved after getting to know him through his girlfriend Jemima [Khan].
The Sun on Sunday quotes a source as saying Brand will pick out some of his favourite quotes and go into a studio to record them.
He will then get Naughty Boy to transform them into a spoken-word rap. It's all a bit of fun and there are no plans to release it as an official chart single as yet.
"But who knows what this project could actually turn into."
The poems - which will be taken from Russell's new book, 'rEVOLution', due out in October - are said to heavily feature love and what he has learned from his past romances.
Another source has said: "No one knows what Russell is going to be like rapping - if he's as good as Eminem then it may well become a huge single."
