Rupert Grint had to get rid of his hoverboard because it "almost killed" him.
The 32-year-old actor has revealed he suffered a bad crash while using the hoverboard shortly after starring in the 'Harry Potter' film franchise.
He said: "I haven’t been on it in a long time.
"I crashed it quite badly the last time I was out, because it’s impossible - no brakes. It’s lethal. It nearly killed me."
Rupert joined the franchise when he was just 11 years old and the actor - who starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson - admitted it was an "overwhelming" experience.
He told the 'Armchair Expert' podcast: "It was definitely hard to get your head around, because I’m quite a shy, private person and suddenly to be put in that world was overwhelming.
"And also the responsibility, because fans of the books … they hold these characters in such high regard. There was a time where it felt quite suffocating.
"Every year, we came back. It was like Groundhog Day - same sets, same people. But it was great. I loved it."
Meanwhile, Rupert recently admitted that he has considered walking away from acting as he's never felt comfortable with being famous and his dreams of quitting the industry to do something else have only grown since he became a father.
He said: "I’ve always toyed with the idea of walking away from acting and becoming a dad has increased those feelings. Don’t get me wrong, I love working on [the horror series] 'Servant' and feel extremely comfortable in a TV environment.
"But 'Potter' happened at such a young age and I found it hard to deal with the fame side of things. If I ever do see Dan [Radcliffe] or Emma [Watson], fame is the one thing we never talk about.
"There’s no way I would compare us to the Beatles, but they always said it was impossible to describe what it was like being a Beatle unless you were there. Maybe us three experienced a tiny bit of that."
