Rochelle Humes doesn't think her husband Marvin can ever top his festive proposal.

The Saturdays singer - who has two-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai with the former JLS star - knows her spouse will always buy her good Christmas gifts but doesn't think he can ever give anything better than when he asked her to be his wife.

She said: "Marvin's good at giving gifts.

"The best thing he ever got me? Well he proposed to me around Christmas time and i don't think it gets better than that."

The 26-year-old beauty admits she always gets excited at Christmas and loves the fact she can use her little girl as an excuse for her abundance of festive cheer.

She said: "I'm like a child and now I have a little girl I can pretend I'm doing it all for her when really I'm just as excited as she is.

"I'm a massive Christmas fan and my house [is] like a grotto."

Rochelle was looking forward to having some time off to relax and indulge over the festive season.

Asked her Christmas plans, she said: "Just with the family. It's the one time where it's quite quiet workwise so we just relax and chill out, eating lots of food and lots of cake."
