Robin Williams' daughter "worshipped" the late actor.
Zelda Williams, who expressed her grief on Instagram after the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' star hanged himself yesterday (11.08.14), is "devastated" in the wake of the tragedy, but is being supported by friends and family.
A source close to the 25-year-old actress told E! News: "She is devastated. Her father was everything to her. They were so very close. She worshipped her father and he just adored her. She is such an amazing strong girl and everyone just loves her so much."
Zelda posted a touching tribute to the 63-year-old 'The Birdcage' star online shortly after he was found dead by his assistant at his home in Tiburon, California.
She shared a quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's literary classic 'The Little Prince' that reads: "You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night... You - only you will have stars that can laugh."
She added: "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up, Z."
Robin's final Instagram post was an old photograph of himself and Zelda to celebrate her birthday on July 31, which he captioned: "Quarter of a century old but always my baby girl."
Meanwhile, a huge number of celebrities continue to share tributes to the late actor.
Ben Affleck, who starred alongside Robin in his first movie 'Good Will Hunting,' wrote on Facebook: "Thanks chief - for your friendship and for what you gave the world. Robin had a ton of love in him. He personally did so much for so many people. He made [Matt Damon] and my dreams come true. What do you owe a guy who does that? Everything. May you find peace my friend. #RobinWilliams."
