Robin Thicke says his marriage is the most "functional dysfunctional marriage in Hollywood".
The 'Blurred Lines' hitmaker has been married to actress Paula Patton for eight years and insists that while they have their ups and downs, for the majority of the time their relationship is more normal than other A-list romances.
In an interview with the new issue of America's Star magazine, Robin gushed that his marriage is "the greatest love of the century and the most functional dysfunctional marriage in Hollywood".
The 36-year-old R&B star, who was high school sweethearts with his spouse, also revealed that he instantly had a crush on Paula, 37, the moment they met and has fallen in love with her numerous times over since their relationship blossomed.
He said: "I knew she was special the night I met her. I was only 14, but she was already the most special girl.
"As a relationship progresses, you fall in love again in so many deeper ways. You realise that you need each other and you can't live without each other."
Robin's controversial 'Blurred Lines' video sees him frolicking around with naked female models, but the singer insists being risqué is part of his job and he isn't worried about his three-year-old son Julian being teased by other children when he starts school because of his dad or his actress mum's antics.
He explained: "We're not teachers and lawyers. Mummy has shown her naked body for roles and daddy has been around naked bodies, it's just what we do. I'm sure he'll get a little ribbing at school, but at least mummy looks great naked and daddy's song was a hit!"
