Robert Pattinson is renting a holiday home in Canada for the summer.
The 27-year-old actor is going to stay in a luxury pad at a lake in Toronto throughout July and August with his sister Lizzie as he tries to escape the drama surrounding his split from Kristen Stewart.
The home comes with a speedboat moored nearby and the Hollywood heartthrob intends to spend the summer relaxing with his sibling and writing music.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Rob is renting a house in Bloor West Village in Toronto for July and August.
"Rob needs time away from showbiz drama and loves having his family around him.
"They plan to spend their evenings in the garden drinking, listening to music and writing songs."
Rob has been writing songs in a bid to work through his emotions after he called time on his romance with Kristen in May for a second time after discovering she had been back in touch with director Rupert Sanders - who she admitted having an affair with when they shot 'Snow White and the Huntsman' together.
A previously revealed: "Rob's always had half a mind on his music, but when his film career and relationship with Kristen both took off at the same time, something else had to give.
"He's really enjoyed picking up his guitar again properly and it has given him something to focus on during the break-up."
Robert's musical efforts have previously seen him record two tracks, 'Never Think' and 'Let Me Sign', for the original 'Twilight' soundtrack.
