The 43-year-old musician has been warring with the Led Zeppelin star ever since Robbie and his family moved into a home near Jimmy in West London, and began mammoth scale building work which annoyed the rocker.

Jimmy previously claimed the £17 million job could cause "catastrophic" damage to his own mansion, and once described the planning applications as "unfortunate".

However, according to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, the two music stars are thought to have settled their differences after Robbie's latest plans to build a summer house went through planning permission without a single complaint from 73-year-old Jimmy.

Despite the 'Stairway To Heaven' hitmaker remaining silent on the topic of the planned summer house, it was previously reported that Robbie's other neighbours are less than impressed with the new addition to his sprawling mansion.

Robbie - who lives in the London pad with his wife Ayda and their two children, Teddy, four, and Charlie, two - infuriated nearby residents after he requested to have the 28ft by 16ft hut, which has been described as a "humble gem", despite being around the size of a one-bedroom flat, built in his back garden, as they believe the couple have understated the size of the wooden shed and it will overshadow their homes.

In documents, one neighbour wrote to the council to oppose the plans as they believe it will cause "harm" to their living conditions.

It said: "The excessive height and substantial size of the proposed structure will constitute a harm to our living conditions, it will substantially increase a sense of enclosure for us."

It certainly isn't the first time the 'Candy' singer has upset his neighbours, as he and Ayda, 38, were previously forced to pay out £4,670 in fines after Westminster Magistrates Court found them guilty of breaching noise rules.
