Robbie Williams has paid a tattoo tribute to the late Ronnie Corbett by getting an inking of the comedian's spectacles on his neck.
The 42-year-old singer shared a picture of his latest tattoo, which comprises of two pairs of glasses in a nod to Ronnie, who died on Thursday (31.03.16) aged 85, and his late comedy sidekick Ronnie Barker, who were known as The Two Ronnies.
Robbie wrote on Twitter: "Ronnie Corbett: You inspired me at a very young age. THANK YOU. You'll always be with me x (sic)"
The picture is taken from a side-on view of Robbie, who is wearing a baseball cap in the snap, so the black neck tattoo of the spectacles is clearly visible.
Corbett passed away after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease in March 2015, while Barker died in October 2005 aged 76.
Following Corbett's death, it has been reported that he was in line to receive a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth.
It comes after Sir Bruce Forsyth previously claimed the comedian should be recognised as such.
He said: "I don't know why with comedy they seem to be left out. Ronnie deserves it because 'The Two Ronnies' was one of the greatest shows we've ever had in this country."
