The 'Hangover' star's significant other Tiffany Riggle cited irreconcilable differences as she filed legal documents in Ventura County court to end their union, according to papers obtained by TMZ.

In the documents, she is said to have asked for joint custody of their children, Abigail, 16, and 12-year-old George, as well as spousal support.

Tiffany listed May 2, 2020, as the date of separation, just over 21 years after she and Rob wed on April 13th 1999.

While she has noted the pair's two houses and several bank accounts, as well as other items, should be classed as community property, she wants her car - which she bought in 2014 - to be considered as separate property.

Comedian Rob, 50, has starred in numerous motion pictures, including 'Step Brothers', 'The Lorax',  'The Other Guys', 'Dumb & Dumber To', and '21 Jump Street', alongside main stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.

He portrayed policeman Officer Franklin in 2009 comedy movie 'The Hangover'.

Interior designer Tiffany - who founded design company Tickled Crow - previously admitted she admired his comic ability.

Speaking in 2019, she said: "I would always look at Rob and think how satisfying it must be to create something in your head, write it out, understand the characters, and all of a sudden, it’s on stage or in front of a camera."

Rob is also known for working as a correspondent on Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show' from 2006 to 2008, and he was part of the 'Saturday Night Live' cast from 2004 to 2005.
