Rita Ora is reportedly desperate to become friends with Calvin Harris.
The singer has now written her former flame a letter in a bid to call a truce, as well as asking for his permission for her to perform the songs he'd written for her, including chart-topping 'I Will Never Let You Down'.
The Daily Star newspaper was told by a source: "Rita is desperately trying to make friends with Calvin so she can perform her song again and possible get the tracks back.
"His actions have set the campaign back and she wants to try to repair the damage."
The note also included a message to congratulate Calvin on another number one single - his collaboration with John Newman on 'Blame'.
Last month saw Rita banned from performing her tune at the Teen Choice Awards, which took her by surprise.
"He wrote and produced the song, so he has to approve anything TV-wise. He didn't approve the Teen Choice Awards. I could have been told a few weeks earlier. That would have been nice."
Calvin then at the time angrily replied on Twitter: "You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk about every aspect of my personal life.
"But just know that I had a damn good reason.(sic)"
