Rita Ora gets "crazy anxiety" before a date.
The 'RIP' hitmaker has admitted she would prefer to be wooed over drinks than be treated to a sit-down lavish meal by a man because the thought of having to make small talk for an hour while they stuff their faces sends her nerves into overdrive.
Speaking in a pre-recorded interview on 'The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 with Marvin Humes', which will air on Sunday (23.09.18) from 4pm, she said when asked why fans can never seem to find her on dating apps: "you've got to do a little bit more than swipe [on Tinder].
"Dates freak me out. I get crazy anxiety. I don't want any pressure. I'd rather have like a little drink. I just find it weird so a little drink is the easiest way."
Although she's not keen on dating, the 27-year-old singer recently admitted that she's constantly being hounded by men trying their luck on social media and, although she usually ignores them, she sometimes entertains them if she's bored.
When asked if she gets DMs from men on social media, she said: "I get a few, I'm not going to lie and say I don't sometimes entertain it... But sometimes I completely ignore it and it's a little rude as I didn't see that there's a thing that says you've read the messages so I'm reading the messages and it just says read..."
When asked if it's every hour, the blonde beauty laughed: "Is it bad to say yes Not being full-headed. It's not like a focus on it, but I do get a few..."
Rita hasn't had the best of luck when it comes to men as she was left heartbroken and embarrassed in the summer of 2014 when her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris released a statement on Twitter announcing their split without pre-warning her.
His announcement was nice, so it came as a surprise when he banned her from performing her track 'I Will Never Let You Down' because he had written and produced it.
That, in turn, meant Rita had to postpone the release of her fifth studio album because they had written and produced a lot of the songs together.
However, once they'd made amends, she was allowed to perform the track.
