Rita Ora has congratulated Beyoncé on her pregnancy.
The 'Formation' hitmaker announced on Wednesday (01.02.17) she is expecting twins with her husband and rapper Jay Z, and has received praise from fellow musician Rita Ora who branded the 35-year-old as "beautiful".
Reposting the picture that Beyoncé shared of her baby bump on Instagram, the 26-year-old singer wrote: "YAY!!!!!! Congratulations !!!!! sooooo beautiful!!!! (sic)"
Beyoncé shared the news with her fans just moments before Rita's congratulatory post.
She wrote: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters (sic)"
The news of Rita's comments comes after it was speculated last year by fans of Beyoncé that Rita had been romantically involved with Jay Z - real name Shawn Carter - and was the subject of the much talked about line of the hit song 'Sorry', which read: "He only want me when I'm not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair."
The controversy caused the 'Body on Me' hitmaker to speak out, when she said: "First and foremost, Jay Z is my inspiration and one of my idols - lyrically, musically, business-wise. I still look up to him and his wife every day. Beyoncé was one of my biggest idols growing up.
"I find it incredibly rude and disrespectful to women in general (when) we get accused of something that's basically against the important part - the music."
Beyoncé and Jay Z's twins will be the second and third children for the couple, who already share five-year-old Blue Ivy Carter together.
