Rihanna held a "private concert" at a karaoke bar for her friends and family.
The 'We Found Love' hitmaker enjoyed a night out with her mother, manager, friends and relatives at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, where she couldn't resist stepping behind the microphone to give the guests a little show.
A source told E! News: "Rihanna arrived at 9pm with her mom. She didn't rent out the restaurant but had a private room with about 20 people including her manager, niece, and best friend. There weren't any other famous faces recognized.
"They set up karaoke in the private room and many of her friends sang but Rihanna dominated, anyone in the area would have thought they were getting a private concert. It was like a private concert. The waiters were seen refreshing wine all night. They left at 3am."
Meanwhile, when she's not out partying, the 27-year-old beauty is busy working on her hotly anticipated new album 'Anti'.
Collaborator Sia recently revealed: "The other night she
came over and listened to half of 25 songs I played her because she's still looking for songs for her new album.
"She was there to listen to songs and see if there was anything that she was into. It was a business meeting for sure. She took four [songs] but I don't know if they'll end up [on the album]. I'm pretty sure I have one on the new album but I don't know if I'll end up with more than that."
