Rihanna released her long-awaited album 'ANTI' at midnight on Wednesday (27.01.16) - for free.
The 27-year-old singing superstar first teased the record by releasing the lead single 'Work', which features Drake, yesterday (27.01.16), and then hours later announced she was giving away the whole LP as a gift to her fans, who she calls her "navy, via Jay Z's streaming service TIDAL.
Sharing a link to download via the streaming service, she wrote: "Gift to my navy!!! #ANTI Download with code: ANTI http://smarturl.it/RihANTI @samsungmobileus (sic)"
The 'FourFiveSeconds' hitmaker's song with the 'Hotline Bling' rapper immediately shot straight to number one in 70 countries worldwide yesterday after she posted a link to the song on her social media accounts.
Announcing the news on Twiter, she wrote in a series of tweets: "FIRST SINGLE #WORK ft. @Drake from #ANTI is here!! Listen up --> http://smarturl.it/RihWORK ... #WORK feat @drake on iTunes now---> http://smarturl.it/iRWork ... Thank you guys #WORK is number 1 on iTunes, listen here----> http://smarturl.it/iRWork (sic)"
The singer's eighth studio album also features a reworking of Tame Impala's 'New Person, Same Old Mistakes', using the same melody and is titled 'Same Ol' Mistake', and a track featuring American singer/songwriter SZA called 'Consideration'.
'ANTI' will be available to buy as a physical copy on February 5.
