Ricky Martin wants to have a baby daughter next year.
The 42-year-old singer is already a father to six-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino - who were born by a surrogate mother in 2008 - but he insists his family won't be complete until he adds a little girl to his brood.
Speaking to Fox News Latino, he said: "The little baby will come next year.
"When daddy's little girl arrives, I want to be there."
However, the 'Livin' La Vida Loca' hitmaker, who announced he was gay in 2010, has a lot to do before he welcomes the little one into his family as he still needs to find an ideal surrogate.
He explained: "We have to make a couple of phone calls to look for the little girl."
The hunky star is also keen to release his new album and embark on a promotional tour before he becomes a father again because his music is a "priority."
He said: "Music is my priority, though today it seems like it's not."
Meanwhile, Ricky split from his partner Carlos González Abella nine months ago following four years of dating, but he is keen to find love again soon.
He said previously: "[I want someone] who has the same vision in life. I am more of a dreamer, so I want someone that is a little bit more realistic than me ... someone that can complement my creative madness and can bring me down when I'm in the middle of my creative chaos. I love commitment."
