Reese Witherspoon has congratulated Jennifer Garner on her husband Ben Affleck's "amazing" penis.

The 39-year-old actress, who produced the actor's recent film 'Gone Girl,' thought the risky shower scene in which he bares all in the movie "was great."

The 'Hot Pursuit' star, who is married to talent agent Jim Toth, burst out laughing when asked about the famous nude shot during an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live' and initially insisted: "I mean, that scene went so fast that I didn't see it!"

But when her co-star Sofia Vergara suggested she was complaining the scene was too short, she gushed: "I wasn't complaining. I thought it was great. It's amazing. Congratulations, Jen Garner!"

Jennifer, who has three children, Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, two, with 'Argo' star Ben, 42, previously insisted she had no problem with him stripping off in front of the camera.

The 43-year-old actress said: "It wasn't a discussion, it was like, 'Hey, at work today [David] Fincher [the director] talked me into coming out of the shower.' And I was like, 'Oh, cool, well, I hope he had on a wide lens.'

"What I have to say is, 'You're welcome.' I just try to consider myself a charitable person and I wanted to give back. You give me so much, I wanted to give something back to all of you."
