Rebel Wilson almost got her ankles crushed in an escalator at the premiere of her new film in London last night (09.02.16).

The 35-year-old actress was struck with panic just moments before she went in to watch the screening of her movie 'How to be Single' at Vue Cinema in Leicester Square when her high heel got wedged in the moving staircase as she went to step off.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on his Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning (10.02.16), she said: "I'm not very good at high heels. In the escalator going up to the movie cinema, my heels got wedged and I had to do a leap out of my own shoes because my feet and ankles were about to be crushed. Luckily, the bodyguards grabbed the shoes before they got destroyed."
Rebel, who is known for causing a scene when she trots in killer heels, believes her embarrassing mishaps on the red carpet stem from her imaging she's a supermodel.
She explained: "I like to channel supermodels and just pretend and just work it [on the red carpet]. And then you think of different animals in your mind and think like 'Cat'. It gives you different facial expressions without even knowing it."
