Rachel Riley is interested in how virtual reality technology is going to change home entertainment.
The 'Countdown' co-host is looking forward to seeing how the advent of gadgets like the Oculus Rift and the PlayStation VR headset will change how people experience games and television.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper, Rachel - who previously danced on the ballroom on 'Strictly Come Dancing' - said: "Virtual reality will be huge in the next few years and I'm really interested to see how it changes the way we view television. It's a fully immersive experience and I'd love to see something like 'Strictly Come Dancing' use it, so the audience can really get involved."
Rachel revealed that her love of number and puzzles games may have helped her land her job on Channel 4's 'Countdown', but she wants to keep the brain-taxing show tech-free.
The 30-year-old blonde beauty said: "I've always been obsessed with numbers and puzzles and I can remember having this little computer when I was about five-years-old that was packed with lots of maths games. I used to carry it everywhere, which has probably helped me in later life.
"We never use any computers on the show, which is why people enjoy it. It's really old school and the viewers still have the chance to beat us at home. I used to watch the show when I was younger and always wanted to beat Carol Vorderman and now other people watch it and want to beat me."
