Carrie Fisher feels "protective" over Daisy Ridley and John Boyega.
The 59-year-old actress - who found international fame for her portrayal of Princess Leia in the 'Star Wars' movies - admits she worries about her 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' co-stars because of the "hysteria" that will soon surround them.
She told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "You do think of the kids like John and Daisy and of course you feel protective of them.
"You know the hysteria that is coming for them and, as much as you try to explain it, they won't get it until they are in the middle of it. All you can do is prepare them for it as best as possible."
Meanwhile, that is not the only advice Carrie has given to 23-year-old Daisy.
She said previously: "I told her not to go through the crew like wildfire, but I also told her not to take any advice from me. When I was first in it I never wanted anyone to have the anecdote, 'I slept with Princess Leia.'"
Daisy has also been offered a "warning" by Harrison Ford about the perils of fame.
She shared: "It wasn't really advice. It was more of a warning. He said that the anonymity thing is difficult, because as creative people you look to other people for inspiration and suddenly people are looking at you."
