Professor Green has only seen his wife Millie Mackintosh "once" this year.
The 'Read All About It' hitmaker - who married the former 'Made In Chelsea' star in September 2013 - confessed the couple have been like "ships in the night" and have barely enjoyed any quality time together, making things "difficult" between them.
Speaking of when the pair eventually united in Florence, Italy, on January 30, the rapper - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - admitted: "I've only seen Millie once this year... It was the first time I had seen her properly in 30 days. We had seen each other like ships in the night, but we weren't getting any quality time together.
"It is good sometimes to have space, but it is also difficult when you miss someone for that long."
This isn't the first time the two stars have had problems with not seeing one another due to their hectic schedules.
The 32-year-old star admitted his long stints on tour after he and Millie, 26, first tied the knot also caused problems, but they eventually worked out a way to find a better balance.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It used to happen when I was touring. You would have a day off and try and have the best day of your life. But then you'd just start arguing. That is a relationship. The best way is a balance and being really clever with the time you do have together and making the most of that."
Meanwhile, the musician-turned-presenter admitted his busy schedule is partly to blame but he is enjoying his time fronting the UK version of 'Lip Sync Battle'.
He added: "Music is still my passion but things change and opportunities have presented themselves."
